Everything - especially our hosts Anna and Ilya, with whom we spent a fantastic New Year's Eve playing games and drinking champagne on the beach. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, the surroundings fantastic. The beach is amazing and almost desert, never seen a place like this. The food is maybe a little bit more expensive than in other places in Sri Lanka, but it's absolutely amazing! Go for it 🙂
This is a great hotel with very friendly staff. We stayed here for 3 days and regretted afterwards to have moved on. The beach is stunning and there are nearly no other tourists around on it. In general it is more a calm and quiet place, exactly what we were looking for. The staff also helps you with bookings if you would like to go for example fishing or need transportation. Would definitely recommend it.
No time to get bored here!

The rock temple Mulgirigala
Just 20 kilometers away from our hotel is a magnificent temple complex, known for its large statues of a reclining Buddha. Beautiful wall-paintings, exciting sculptures and all of this is right in the caves. This place has a special energy and breathtaking panoramic views from the very top of the complex, whose height is 270m or 530 steps. Take your little ascent!
Oh, these beaches!
Just imagine an 8-kilometer deserted beach, where you can see only fishermen or tourist couples. Perfectly for a walk and conversation about something eternal. A salty breeze refreshes your cheeks, a wave brings warm water to your feet. Feel it all just 50 meters away from our hotel!
